I hope it's really true that the origanial members do get back together again. I was a Young American with Janet Gardner from 1979-1980. We were in a production of GYPSY together where she played Mazeppa, the stripper who's gimmick was a trumpet. I'm glad to know that her incredible voice is still going strong. We also performed ith Liberace in Las Vegas and Lake Tahoe together. Thanks for taking me back a few years and for your efforts.

Just checked out your sight; very impressive! It's a shame that Vixen are going their seperate ways beause 'Tangerine' was superb! It's the best album out for quite a while. Janet has a great voice. A Janet Gardner solo album would be interesting but I'd refer the Vixen line-up to stay around but under a different name. Gina is a superb player, I wish she'd keep writing with Janet. How often do you update your 'News' section? Or do you do it as soon as it comes in?

Hey Neil, long time no gab. I am in the process of completely redesigning my Vixen site, focusing more on the individuals since the band has broken up a second time. Janet is thinking about a possible solo album and Max and Rox are still "jamming" but I ll give you more info when I know of it. I just wanted to let you know that the site will move to a better locale and will have a merchandise page (yeah right...all free stuff from the Webmistress). So wait for that and I'll let you know when it's up. n other news, have you checked out Nancy Wilson's new solo album, Live At McCabes? Worth having. To anyone who has seen Vixen live, I have a question. Do they still sing any of thier old songs at the live shows, or do they just sing songs from thier new album? I was just wondering if the new Vixen can still sing the older songs. I hope they do, I refer the old songs. Also, I hope they go on tour and come to central Wisconsin. I really enjoyed the interview with Janet & Roxy. I was lucky enough to meet the band here in Baltimore on July 9, 1998. The whole band was very kind, posing for pictures and signing autographs & chatting with us after the show.

I just saw Vixen in concert here in St.Louis & they were great!!!! Had front row center. Gina was cool enough to give me a guitar pick.
