Vixen are on this years Kiss Cruise!  It runs from October 29th to November 3rd.

And the same two were recently at the Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy Camp.  As far as I can tell this is the first women only camp that was originally supposed to be in January that Roxy was going to be at that got delayed?  Here they both are with Nancy Wilson of Heart.

Catching up ...
Big news, Share is taking a hiatus from the band.  The news was announced at Vixen's pre-Monsters Of Rock Cruise show at Magic City Casino in Miami, Florida on Feb 8th.  Her replacement is Julia Lage, formerly of the Latin Grammy-nominated Brazilian rock group Barra da Saia and wife of Richie Kotzen, who recently completed a run of US dates with her husband's Smith/Kotzen project.  After playing the first few songs of the set Share broke the news, and introduced Julia, who then replaced her to complete the set.  More info, video and pics at Blabbermouth.

Check out the new song from Tyson Leslie's Mercenaries, Burning Time, which also features Roxy on drums.  The rest of the stellar line up is Todd La Torre on vocals, Jimi Bell on guitar, and Billy Sheehan on bass.

Janet recently appeared on SiriusXM's "Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk".  This doesn't appear to be freely available to listen/view but a couple of excerpts have been transcribed by Blabbermouth, talking about her brain surgery, and her replacement in Vixen, Lorraine Lewis.

And she is featured on an album, "Tigress", by Jim Peterik & World Stage, with the theme of Women Who Rock The World.  Janet is on the song "Lazarus Heart".

Plus there's another show for Janet on November 19th at the Epic Live Event Center in Cincinnati.

Tour dates update - there is also Summerfest on September 2nd, Shooting Star Casino in Mahnomen, MN on September 10th, and the Council Bluffs event - with Skid Row and Dokken - has been moved to October 3rd.   And next year January 17th, Rokisland Fest @ Truman Amphitheater in Key West, FL.

Britt will be musical director of the first Women's Only Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy Camp!  Roxy will also be there as well as names such as Nancy Wilson, Jennifer Batten, Melissa Etheridge and Orianthi.  This will be from Thurs Jan 27th to Sun Jan 30th in Los Angeles, more details here.

Brittany has been announced as the new musical director at Rock 'N' Roll Fantasy Camp for all upcoming live camps.  This after producing and hosting over 160 Rock 'N' Roll Fantasy Camp online Masterclasses since Covid began.  See also the article on Blabbermouth.

Vixen are on the bill of Monsters On The Mountain, running from October 15th to 17th.

Not surprisingly, Monsters of Rock is cancelled and the April show with Skid Row has been moved to August 20th.  Another new one seems to be on September 11th at BMI Speedway, Versailles, OH with Slaughter.

The limited edition pre-order bundle for the Janet / Justin = Gardner / James album is sold out!  These have already been sent out.  The album is released worldwide on August 7th.
Also check out a chat on Rockfiend with Janet and Justin.  They talk about a messup at the plant, with the CDs for the new album initially being pressed with the music of the second album, more shows next year around their Hard Rock Hell appearance including London, and not being able to play Vixen songs on their first tour, among other things ...

Shows are still not happening, all Vixen's for July / August have been cancelled - Gettysburg Bike Week ; Enfield, CT ; with Skid Row ; the Great New York State Fair.

News on Janet's 3rd album!  Or not quite Janet's; it will be released under the name Gardner/James.  The album is called Synergy and will be released on August 7th on Pavement Music.  The first 'single' (although videos for two other songs have already been released) is Wounded, available for streaming on Spotify.  See Facebook for info and pre-order details.  Cover and tracklisting below.

OK, obviously not too much happening what with the coronavirus and the lockdown. No shows in March or April happened - Vixen travelled to Albuquerque and El Paso but weren't able to play - and all events for the foreseeable future should be regarded as cancelled or unlikely to happen.

But some good news, maybe with the additional time available to work on it, Janet is now done with her 3rd album, coming soon.

Oh, and Vixen are confirmed for the 2021 Monsters of Rock Cruise in February.  Assuming that will be sailing!

One of Share's other bands, the Down N Outz won Best British Album at the Planet Rock awards for "This Is How We Roll", released in October last year.  Guess I missed that!, details here.

Britt was just at the Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy Camp, getting to jam with amongst others, Deep Purple members Ian Paice and Steve Morse.
